I am thrilled to announce that after careful consideration and a team majority vote, Kalia Xiong and Noly Lor have been selected as this year’s team captains for our team. Their leadership, dedication, and experience make them outstanding choices for this role.
Both Kalia and Noly have been valuable members of our team for the past two years, consistently demonstrating their skills on the court and their commitment to our team’s success. As solid varsity players, they have shown not only their athletic prowess but also their ability to motivate and inspire their teammates.
As team captains, Kalia and Noly will be responsible for leading stretches and warmups at the beginning of practice, announcing the lineup during games, delivering pre-game pep talks, helping to run drills and practices, and assisting coaches in various ways. They will also serve as a bridge between the team and the coaching staff, ensuring that communication flows smoothly and that everyone is informed and engaged.
